As Australia’s leading business school, UNSW Business School is transforming business education to offer more experiential learning opportunities for students, create more inclusive learning communities, and make a positive difference in society.
UNSW aspires to be the exemplar Australian university and employer of choice for people from diverse backgrounds, and our continuous improvement to embrace diversity and building a culture of inclusion, has been credited by the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI).
We are transforming the way we design and deliver immersive education to our students across the faculty, from undergraduate to postgraduate and MBA programs. To achieve these ambitions, UNSW Business School is currently seeking world-class educators with expertise and leadership skills to transform our curriculum and create an even more vibrant and inclusive student learning environment.
“We need to continue to refresh and redesign our program offerings and initiatives to meet future student and societal needs, and we look forward to welcoming additional teaching-focussed academics with a passion to do just that over the next few years,” says Professor Mark Uncles, Senior Deputy Dean (Education & Student Experience), UNSW Business School.
There are up to 22 positions available across Lecturer (14 roles), Senior Lecturer (7 roles) and Associate Professor (1 role) academic levels. The Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor roles are expected to be leaders in educational excellence and innovation.
These new appointments will double the number of Education-Focussed academics at UNSW Business School, and alongside our current teaching faculty, will develop educational improvements across several specialisations and challenge themselves to deliver outstanding teaching opportunities, while pursuing initiatives to transform the educational experience of our students.
“COVID caused a rapid disruption to how we teach, assess, and how our students learn. The educational future at UNSW combines digital savviness with an engaging, sustainable, and inclusive student experience. Boosting our educators in this space will accelerate our award-winning teaching innovations, establish new technology platforms, and create unique collaborative learning opportunities to solve business problems,” says Professor Leisa Sargent, Senior Deputy Dean (Academic), UNSW Business School.
The successful applicants will bring their industry insights and professional experience to the role and seamlessly deploy educational technologies to deliver superior online, blended and on-campus experiences for our students across an array of programs.
These Education-Focussed positions also include the opportunity to teach at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) who offer innovative, experiential, world-class programs designed to equip the next generation of leaders to make an impact in an accelerating world.
Applications will close on: 17 May 2022
