AGSM @ UNSW Business School Executive Education ranked 29th in the world in the Financial Times 2022 Executive Education Rankings released last week. Its Open Programs ranked 34th and Custom Programs ranked 37th overall.

AGSM’s open and custom programs are the highest ranked in the Australasian region.

“The nature of leadership has changed enormously, and in a post-pandemic world there is an increased understanding that leaders need to be equipped with the skills to effectively lead through disruption and face challenges successfully,” said Professor Nick Wailes, Senior Deputy Dean UNSW Business School and Director AGSM.

“Organisations are looking to build the capabilities of their employees after a challenging couple of years. We’ve seen this reflected in registrations across our suite of short courses and tailored learning solutions.”

AGSM Custom Programs were also ranked at second in the world in Growth, a category based on overall growth in revenues from customised programmes.

Professor Wailes said results like this mark an increased appetite for professional development and contemporary business skills that can be applied immediately within the workplace.

“Partnerships like those AGSM has with companies to co-design and deliver a whole-of-enterprise leadership development programs demonstrate this commitment,” he said.

“With 28 leadership programs in our short course portfolio running multiple times throughout the year, AGSM can provide leaders with the skills needed to be adaptive and nimble in this accelerating and increasingly complex world”.

In the Open Programs ranking, AGSM ranked 20th for Faculty, 28th for Faculty Diversity and 27th for Teaching Methods & Materials, something Professor Wailes said was a testament to the quality of the staff who developed and taught the AGSM Executive Education course portfolio, both online and in-person.

‘We’re proud of the hard work AGSM staff and facilitators have put in to bring together interactive, virtual learning with evidence-based in-person experiences for students dedicated to lifelong learning.”
