UNSW cCDI Industry Forum & Workshop

The cCDI hosted a special Industry forum on the 6th July, 2022. The former Chief of Policy and Research at Infrastructure Australia, Peter Colacino, gave the opening address. Industry leaders from Cisco and Trantek MST were also invited to speak on their current work. The forum was followed by a workshop session for industry and academia to discuss current and future critical digital infrastructure problems concerning themes such as:

• Ecosystems & Community  
  E.g., Governance Models, Licensing Models, Commercial Models, Education & Training 

• Platforms  
  E.g., Operating System (OS), Project IP management, Discovery, Plugins, Automation, Testing (Unit Penetration etc.)

• Tools  
  E.g., Documentation, Dependency Management, Programming languages and compilers, Project, or Code Readability / Understandability

• Productivity  
  E.g., Project Portability, Project Security 

• Core Technologies  
  E.g., Low power communications, AI and Deep Learning, data storage and analytics
