Arlette is a sustainable finance specialist with a private equity background and extensive expertise across impact investment, blended finance, and innovative financing mechanisms for environmental and social outcomes.
As part of the Global Ocean Accounts Partnership (GOAP) Secretariat, Arlette develops analytical frameworks and strategic approaches for sustainable finance initiatives, with particular focus on the blue economy and marine conservation financing.
Her work spans the full spectrum of sustainable finance, from private equity and impact investment structures to complex blended finance arrangements and environmental outcome measurement frameworks. Arlette specialises in creating strategic approaches that bridge conservation needs with capital market requirements, working across public and private sector contexts to design financing solutions for environmental initiatives.
Drawing on her private equity experience, she provides analytical and strategic support for innovative financing approaches, particularly for Small Island Developing States and emerging economies seeking to access sustainable finance markets. Her expertise includes blue finance policy analysis, impact investment structuring, blended finance mechanisms, and the integration of natural capital accounting into financial decision-making for ocean conservation and climate resilience projects.
