Through work and educational experience, Marianne has developed skills to support sustainable transformation across the marine and coastal environment, supporting work from the private and public sector.
Marianne is a mechanical engineer and marine biologist, with a graduate diploma in Ocean Leadership from UWA and a Master's in Marine Science and Management from UNSW. She has over 10 years of work experience, ranging from lab and field-based genetics research on marine wildlife, sustainability consultancy, natural capital and ocean accounting. Her current focus is supporting the creation of ocean accounts (GOAP), mainly across the Latin American and Caribbean region.
