Science - School of Physics
The ARC Training Centre for Future Leaders in Quantum Computing (FLiQC) Scholarship is designed to support several outstanding PhD scholars who are highly motivated to drive groundbreaking advancements in quantum computing.
Funded by the Australian Research Council, the scholarship will be awarded to students of exceptional research potential to undertake research aligned with one of the centre's projects. Candidates will also participate in industry-based placements with our industry partners, along with a professional development program.
The scholarships will support centre research projects across the full stack of quantum computer technologies including devices, algorithms, and architectures.
Similar scholarships will be offered across FLiQC partner universities (The University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Technology, Macquarie University, and The University of Western Australia).
Candidates will benefit and gain valuable experience as part of this cohort of research students at FLiQC partner universities and through participation in the programs run by our delivery partner, Sydney Quantum Academy.

- International or Domestic PhD candidate
Scholarship:
- $41,753 per annum scholarship for up to 4 years.
