The PNPT Laboratory

The research laboratory for Precision and Nano Processing Technology was founded to promote the leading research on precision fabrication and nanotechnology. The laboratory is equipped with world-class facilities in research areas such as nano-mechanics, nano-tribology, materials characterisation, nano/microfabrication, solid mechanics and precision manufacturing. The research team has established its international reputation and has had active research collaborations with over 20 institutions worldwide.

Our primary research areas encompass precision manufacturing, bio-manufacturing, nanotechnology, advanced materials characterization, tribology, solid mechanics, and computational mechanics. Within these fields, we conduct theoretical analysis, modelling, experimental investigations, and product development.
