Academic and professional staff from the Division of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement and the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture have been collaborating to distil and build on lessons from existing community-engaged initiatives at UNSW.

The team was a coaching project of the Innovation Hub in 2025, to further the aim of building capability, knowledge and resources regarding how UNSW staff and students engage with communities through research, education and collaboration.
