The Legal & Compliance team provides advice on legal matters affecting the university and is responsible for the university's Legislative Compliance Framework.
Legal & Compliance's role is to effectively manage legal risk on behalf of the university in the following areas:
- Commercial and Real Estate Law
- People and Conduct Law
- IP and Commercialisation Law
- Major Research Initiatives and Philanthropy Law
- Compliance and Privacy Law

Please note that we can only provide advice to the university and its controlled entities on legal matters affecting the university. We cannot provide advice to university staff members in their private capacity, members of the public, or to students of the university.
