The Mandatory Data Breach Notification Scheme under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) requires the University to maintain a public register of notifications for eligible data breaches.  The register will contain notifications for eligible data breaches where the University is unable, or it is not reasonably practicable, to directly notify all affected individuals.

The register is available here: Public Data Breach Notification Register.

For details on how the University responds to potential or actual data breaches, please refer to our Data Breach Policy and Procedure.
