About Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW
The Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW is a three-year full-time degree at Australia’s top-ranking Engineering faculty. Computers, software and computing systems are present and dominate almost all industries. As industries progress and develop so must the capabilities of computers and their systems.
In your exploration of computer science, you’ll study the design, construction and uses of computer systems including hardware and software tools that allow computer applications to be developed. This degree will emphasise the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers and translators, and computer hardware.
The Bachelor of Computer Science also focuses on the representation of data and data structures in computer systems and the design of algorithms for automatic manipulation of this information by programming languages and machine systems.
