Legal centres teleconference

Light bulb
The Kaldor Centre convenes a national teleconference for lawyers, legal organisations, academics and peak bodies involved in the legal aspects of asylum and refugee practice and policy in Australia.  It operates as a forum for knowledge-exchange and collaboration on legislation, litigation, law and policy reform, and other areas of legal practice.
The teleconference provides an opportunity for participants across Australia to discuss recent and emerging trends, coordinate responses to legislation and inquiries, and develop connections with counterparts in different states and territories. It also facilitates the formation of ad hoc working groups to address distinct aspects of asylum and refugee law of concern to members.
