Planning & Performance
- Lead the Integrated Planning Process and develop the University Annual Plan.
- Lead the development of the University’s performance framework and monitor university-wide strategic performance.
- Deliver innovative data solutions, insights and advisory advice to support the University’s Strategy.
- Support faculties and divisions with tailored performance insights.
Forecasting & Reporting
Forecasting & Reporting
- Provide data-driven projections for student enrolment and tuition revenue to support strategic planning and budgeting across the university.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports to government agencies, accreditors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, scenario modelling, and ad hoc analyses that inform university wide planning.
- Maintain and enhance the Anaplan platform to support accurate, agile modelling of student load and financial projections, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of planning and forecasting across the University.
Insights, Analytics & Data

- Maintain a secure, scalable data platform for reliable university wide analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality and trust through robust governance and security practices.
- Deliver timely insights through dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Provide accessible, well documented self-service analytics with reliable data.
- Advance innovation through analytics, machine learning, and AI to meet evolving needs.
Data & Information Governance
Data & Information Governance
- Lead responsible and ethical data use across UNSW through governance and policy.
- Advise on data governance requirements for IT projects and strategic initiatives.
- Approve data sharing to protect and appropriately use institutional data.
- Build awareness of policies and deliver training to support compliance and informed decisions.
- Enable effective data management practices for trusted, consistent, and secure data use university wide.
