Realising a 65-year vision

The RHIP fulfils a 65-year vision for UNSW to integrate more closely with the Randwick Hospital Campus.

Spanning Botany Street, RHIP is the largest collocated health precinct in NSW. It brings together government, UNSW, 4 major hospitals (Prince of Wales, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Royal Hospital for Women, Prince of Wales Private), preclinical facilities and 9 institutes spanning neuroscience, mental health, cancer and other fields.

UNSW has 2 new facilities at Randwick, the UNSW Integrated Acute Services Building and the UNSW Health Translation Hub.

UNSW and its precinct partners compete at the forefront of health education, training and research internationally. The precinct attracts outstanding clinicians, health professionals and academics. It drives better healthcare outcomes for patients and generates economic benefits for the community.
