New College

Undergraduate residential community founded on Christian faith and values, accepting residents of all faiths and none.

Founded in 1969, the New College Communities are actively involved in the life of the wider University community, and are enriched by the cultural diversity of staff and students. We welcome people of all faiths and philosophies.

New College is an undergraduate, fully catered, residential community on-campus at UNSW with an outstanding record of academic achievement and a comprehensive social, sporting and cultural program.

New College has a friendly and safe environment founded on Christian faith and values. Our 247 men and women are supported by dedicated pastoral care and academic tutor teams led by the Master, Dean Of Residents, and the Dean Of Studies. Study assistance is provided across all UNSW faculty areas. The college attracts top students from Australia and overseas, with a significant amount of residents achieving a distinction average or higher.
