Your UNSW Bengaluru journey starts here
We're excited to meet you at our inaugural India campus for your first semester. Orientation Week (O-Week) is your first opportunity to make friends, meet your academics and set yourself up for success for Semester 1.
Join your new community for five days of activities designed to help you feel confident, connected and ready for what’s ahead. Sessions will include a mix of essential information, interactive experiences, team challenges and campus activities.

O-Week program overview
Five days. Six themes. One community.
- Official Welcome and the Foundations of Belonging
Start your UNSW Bengaluru experience by meeting your community and hearing from university leaders about your journey ahead. Discover your new campus and begin building the connections that will support you throughout your studies.
Following the official welcome, parents are invited to a special parent information session and morning tea.
- Academic readiness & integrity
Meet your faculty, connect with academics and learn about the skills, expectations and resources you can access to excel at UNSW Bengaluru.
- Personal and professional development
You will participate with other students in entrepreneurship, innovation, successful communication and pitch-ready presentation skills sessions.
- Wellbeing & resilience - Student Support
Your success and wellbeing are important to us. Learn about the services and opportunities available to you both on and off campus, that will help you develop strategies for success and build confidence navigating university life.
- The Bengaluru experience
Discover Bengaluru through field activities, creative experiences, opportunities to get involved and celebrate the diverse identities, talents and passions that make our student community unique.
- Celebrate our UNSW identity with clubs, societies and student leadership
As the founding students you will be instrumental in shaping the UNSW Bengaluru identity! You will have the opportunity to create, connect, share your ideas and vote!
We will launch our new student clubs, societies and the Student Representative Council (SRC), all designed by you, for you as part of shaping your UNSW Bengaluru experience.
The week will culminate in a fabulous celebration dinner. Parents and carers are welcome to join our evening dinner event.
