Project description:
The project will vary depending on the exact nature of project. Some projects are very computational though others are a more balanced mixture of observational data (e.g. transient surveys, ESO and Australian telescopes) and theoretical modelling.
Desired background:
BSc in physics or astrophysics preferred; computational science or other disciplines also possible. Masters by research in Astronomy and/or astro research experience is an asset, as is programming experience.
