UNSW Canberra Graduation Information

I AM ATTENDING

1. Register as ATTENDING via TBC. Check name, address and degree specialisation are correct.
   
   Do not pay the UNSW graduation fee. 
   
   
2. Book and pay for your Academic Dress (Regalia) hire, photography and 3 guest tickets* through Reed Events TBC

Fee includes Hire of Academic Dress – Gown and Hood, Trencher (hat) to keep, and Ceremony stage photo

1. Indicate your non-attendance via TBC
   Check name, address and degree specialisation are correct.
   
   
2. Select how you would like to receive your graduation documents:
   
   
   • Not Attending – Mail: your graduation documents will be sent to you after your scheduled ceremony date by either registered post within Australia, or by courier outside Australia
   • Not Attending – Collect: your Testamur will be available for collection from the Student Administrative Services office at UNSW Canberra from Monday 14 September 2026 onwards.

If you require evidence of your degree completion for work purposes, please see information on how to do this on the UNSW website.

In order to graduate, it is a University requirement that all materials must be returned, and all fines/fees must be settled (this includes any tuition fees, loans, library books and fines.) and your USI registered with UNSW (or exemption processed)

Students can check their accounts by contacting Student Administrative Services. Library accounts can be checked through the myLibrary login, located on the Academic Library webpage.

Academic Dress must also be worn over the Uniform.

Academic Dress will be available on:

Friday 11 September 2026 in the South Lobby, Adams Auditorium, Building 111

Graduands must bring identification.

Up to 3 Guest Tickets can be ordered by the Graduand when ordering gown hire/photography through Reed Events. Graduands must share their allocated tickets with their guest prior to the ceremony commencement. Guests will not be able to enter the venue without a digital ticket (on a device or printed copy).

Academic Dress must be returned by TBC on September 11 2026 to the South Lobby, Adams Auditorium. Academic Dress not returned by TBC will incur an additional cost.

Requests for additional guest tickets can be requested at Reed Events TBC

Once RSVP’s have closed, tickets may be allocated if there are seats available.

All Graduands will be photographed as they receive their testamur on stage, as part of the Scene to Believe Gown Hire and photography fee.

Additional  photography will be available on Friday 11 September 2026 in the Army/Airforce Room, Adams Auditorium from TBC.

UNSW Canberra recognises the hard work and dedication of all our graduating students. To celebrate this significant milestone, you and your guests are invited to join us for light refreshments after the ceremony outside Adams Auditorium. 

Your name will be called as you cross the stage at your Conferring of Degrees Ceremony. If you think there may be difficulties in pronouncing your name, please complete the below questionnaire with the phonetic pronunciation ('how' you say your name) by 5pm Friday 4 September 2026.
