UNSW Canberra Graduation Information

• Register as ATTENDING via MyUNSW from 23 October to 30 November 2023. Check name, address and degree specialisation are correct. 

Book and pay for your Academic Dress (Regalia) hire, photography and 3 guest tickets* through Scene to Believe from 23 October to 30 November 2023.

*Extra guest tickets cannot be accommodated due to both ceremonies being at full capacity.  The ceremonies will be livestreamed on site to the Army/Airforce room in the Auditorium.  If ticket holders do not turn up and there are spare seats in the Auditorium 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the ceremony, then guests will be escorted in to the Auditorium.

Indicate your non-attendance via MyUNSW from 23 October to 30 November 2023. Check name, address and degree specialisation are correct.

Select how you would like to receive your graduation documents:

• Not Attending – Mail: your graduation documents will be sent to you after your scheduled ceremony date by either registered post within Australia, or by courier outside Australia
• Not Attending - Collect: your Testamur will be available for collection from the Student Administrative Services office at UNSW Canberra from Thursday, 14 December to Tuesday, 19 December 2023 and January 3 2024 onwards.

If you require evidence of your degree completion for work purposes, please email SAS@adfa.edu.au and a formal letter can be provided.

In order to graduate, it is a University requirement that all materials must be returned, and all fines/fees must be settled (this includes any tuition fees, loans, library books and fines.) and your USI registered with UNSW (or exemption processed)

Students can check their accounts by contacting Student Administrative Services. Library accounts can be checked through the myLibrary login, located on the Academic Library webpage.

*Academic Dress must also be worn over the Uniform.

All graduands are required to wear the appropriate academic dress during the Degree Conferring Ceremony

Graduands are advised that there will be a requirement to walk up and down stairs to access the stage, therefore appropriate shoes are essential. 

Academic Dress will be available from 1000-1700 on Tuesday 12 December 2023 and 0900-1400 on Wednesday 13 December 2023 in the Academy Cadets Mess (ACM). Graduands must bring identification.

Guests will not be able to enter the venue without a digital ticket (on a device or printed copy)

Academic Dress can be returned from 1230-1700 on Wednesday 13 December 2023 in the Academy Cadets Mess (ACM).

Guest Tickets that have been ordered will be sent digitally.

All Graduands will be photographed as they receive their testamur on stage.

Studio photography will be available on the ceremony day in the Academy Cadets Mess (ACM) from 0900-1700.
