UNSW offers a wide range of Equity Scholarships to assist commencing and current students to undertake full-time study. Equity Scholarships are awarded to students from low socio-economic backgrounds to increase access to study opportunities for students who have experienced financial hardship and educational disadvantage.
The Scientia Scholars program offers a flexible and rewarding education for students undertaking full-time undergraduate study at UNSW. Benefits include an annual stipend, access to academic mentors, invitations to a range of special events, and the opportunity to be considered for research assistant positions within their chosen faculty.
The UNSW Scientia Scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students who achieve an ATAR score (or equivalent) of 99.90 or above in an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate.
Academic Achievement Awards are granted to encourage academically gifted local Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent students from the ACT and NSW high schools to undertake undergraduate study at UNSW.
UNSW Canberra offers scholarships to high-achieving undergraduate students who pursue an Honours program in Arts, Business, Computing and Cyber Security, and Science.
Current undergraduate students are also eligible to apply for the Summer Undergraduate Research Scholarship. This program gives students the opportunity to undertake a short research project with leading researchers.
