  • Investment banking, merchant banking and corporate finance
  • Investment management
  • Stock broking (equity securities analysts)
  • Credit analyst (equities and debt)
  • Retail and Wholesale Banking
  • Financial management
  • Treasury
  • Securities trading (Foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, debt and equity markets)
  • Superannuation
  • Custodian services
  • Financial planning
  • Consulting (Investment consulting or Management consulting)
  • Insurance
  • Government regulation

Finance and Banking is a stream that is really interesting and rewarding, but requires a lot of hard work and long hours. It's really important to do research and be sure it's the right field for you. I chose to study Finance and Banking, because I had an interest in the inner workings of financial markets that influence our day-to-day lives
