The Kirby Institute

The Kirby Institute is a leading global research institute dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Established in 1986 in response to the then emerging HIV epidemic, the Institute now contributes to knowledge on a broad range of diseases, including viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections.

CoPQTI

The UNSW Community of Practice for Inclusive Research with Queer and Trans people, and people with innate variations of sex characteristics (Intersex) (CoPQTI) comprises UNSW academics, professional staff, and students, both LGBTQIA+ and allies, who work with queer and trans people, and people with innate variations of sex characteristics, to make research and practice more inclusive.
