Chris commenced his PhD candidature with the Faculty of Law, UNSW in 2020. His PhD concerns the institutional and fiduciary framework relevant to the use of blended finance for financing the transition to decarbonised shipping in Pacific Island Countries. Admitted as a lawyer in the UK in 1994 and in NSW in 1997, Chris's work as a lawyer has been mainly concerned with large project financed infrastructure projects, including as a partner at large firms in the UK and Australia, and as General Counsel for the operating entities of public-private partnerships.
