Right before embarking on the 40th Eastern Australian Waterbird Survey, project lead Prof. Richard Kingsford expresses his excitement at seeing wetlands in less commonly inundated areas due to a wet La Nina year.
As the team heads to Queensland, in a return to a more regular series of flight legs after the pandemic interruptions of the previous two years, we wish them a safe and predictable journey over many of Australia's most important wetlands.
