Departing Armidale we headed to some large dams near the coal fired power station at Lake Liddell. These storages are full but there are low numbers of waterbirds. Similarly, as we survey along the heavily modified Hunter River floodplain there are few waterbirds to be found. From there we headed back to Bankstown to prepare for the next leg of the survey program.
