Dr Gabe Kornis (1933-2025) was a UNSW Alumnus who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1958 (Honours in Chemistry) and PhD in 1962. The Kornis Family Visiting Lectureship in Chemistry supports distinguished national and international visitors who are experts in the field of medicinal and/or organic chemistry to deliver lectures at UNSW. This lectureship series was made possible thanks to the generous support of Dr Gabe Kornis and his family.
