HDR Employability Program

Higher Degree Research (HDR) Employability Program is free and supports you as a HDR candidate to critically think about your current path and career opportunities, and will assist you to lay the foundation for a successful future career transition. 

In this five-week program, you will learn how to plan and manage your career, and build skills to support your transition to the workplace after conferral of your doctorate. You will learn how to produce competitive job application documents, hone your interviewing techniques, uncover the power of networking and reflect on your leadership skills. There will also be opportunities to receive personalised careers advice from a UNSW Careers Coach and learn from UNSW alumni and industry experts.

Duration

The program runs during Term 3 over a 5-week period, 7 September to 5 October 2023.   

What's involved?

The program includes online, self-paced learning activities, weekly 1-1.5 hour workshops and an alumni and industry panel event.
