Higher Degree Research (HDR) Employability Program is free to all UNSW HDR candidates.
The Higher Degree Research (HDR) Employability Program is free and supports you as a HDR candidate to critically think about your current path and career opportunities and will assist you to lay the foundation for a successful future career transition.
In this program, you will learn how to plan and manage your career and build skills to support your transition to the workplace after conferral of your doctorate. You will learn how to produce competitive job application documents, hone your interviewing techniques, uncover the power of networking and reflect on your leadership skills. There will also be opportunities to connect with UNSW Careers Coaches, UNSW alumni and industry experts.
Duration
Stay tuned. A a new one-day version of this program will be launching in Term 3 2024.
What's involved
The program will involve attending a one-day in-person symposium.
