Work Integrated Learning (WIL) at UNSW

At UNSW students have the opportunity to undertake a WIL placement in two ways:

  1. Faculty WIL arrangements
These are WIL arrangements undertaken as part of a student’s degree program. This enables students to apply theory learned in the classroom to the practice of work through engagement with a partner organisation to enhance their professional and personal skills. (Please see below for faculty-specific information).

  2. Project-based interdisciplinary WIL courses
A group of students from different degree backgrounds work directly with an organisation on a project to provide the organisation with purposeful deliverables. This project-based course is designed for partners looking to source students from a range of faculties and perspectives.
