UNSW Employability’s Experiential Learning team offers a range of WIL courses.

Interdiscplinary partner projects

UNSW Employability courses offer you the oppportunity to interact directly with an organisation, gain practical project-based experience, and take your professional skills to the next level, all while earning six units of credit towards your undergraduate or postgraduate degree. 

You will collaborate in an interdisciplinary team with the project partner and an academic project supervisor, who assists in maximising learning and the quality of the project deliverables.  

These courses are available both locally and globally to undergraduate and postgraduate students as a General Education or Free Elective.  

Internships

With Employability internship courses, you will gain relevant pratical experience, develop your professional knowledge and future-focused skills, and earn credit towards your undergraduate degree.

You can source your own internship or apply for opportunities advertised by Employability.

Open to students from all degrees, these courses give you the opportunity to complete an internship with an industry, government or community partner organisation.

Course content is delivered flexibly online, with assessment tasks designed to help you make the most of your internship, reflect on your experience and showcase your professional development.
