The Student & Stakeholder Communications team cuts through the noise to connect UNSW students with your initiatives, events, opportunities and updates.
We're the central team delivering trusted BAU messaging, large-scale campaigns and one-off updates to current students through channels including email, social media and web.
With ongoing insights and active engagement, we ensure every message is relevant and student-focused.

To submit a request:
- Complete the request form – at least two weeks ahead of the start date or publication for one-off campaigns or one month for ongoing projects
- We’ll review your request within 2 business days and get in touch with next steps

Content is straight to the point and highly personalised, ensuring each student only sees news that’s relevant to them.

Email campaigns (EDMs) are used sparingly to reduce inbox overload and ensure students don’t miss out on important information about their studies. EDMs are highly targeted, using dynamic lists to ensure accuracy and relevance. Engagement is closely monitored to measure success.

Prioritising important information delivered in a targeted and timely manner, such as:
- Important program or degree information
- Student lifecycle updates (e.g. fees, exams, enrolment)

Our @unswstudents Instagram account showcases life at UNSW for current students, offering engaging and interactive content on a platform they use every day. We highlight general opportunities, share stories, and bring the UNSW experience to life online.

Looking for something else?
Before commencing any communications to current students related to surveys, you must seek approval from the Student Survey Reference Group (SRG).
Requests to communicate with staff are managed by the Division of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement (SIEE).
The Creative Services team manages the university's brand and can support with creative needs like signage and merchandise.
Arc's Campus Creative team produces vibrant, affordable and student-focused content including photography, animation and signage.
