Changes to your study situation as an international student
There are a number of conditions on your international student visa tied to your academic choices and progression. Learn about the different options and their implications.
Are you enrolled as a full-time student?
Ensure your enrolment adheres to your visa rules. As an international student, you must enrol in 48 Units of Credit (UOC) per academic calendar year. Find out how you can achieve this or what to do if you haven't met the requirements.
Has your residency status recently changed to domestic?
If your residency status has changed, you’ll need to notify UNSW within 7 days of receiving confirmation from the Australian Government. This is to ensure that you can access Commonwealth Support and/or HELP loans, if eligible.
In need of a new Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)?
You may need to apply for a visa extension if you are extending your program duration or returning from leave or suspension. Find out how to apply.
Are you thinking of changing your enrolment or program?
Find all the enrolment and program forms available to current students in one place. From timetable clashes and full classes to internal program transfer and program leave, check out the eligibility for each request.
Have you just completed your program of study?
Congrats! Now it's time for you to prepare for your graduation and learn more about post-study work rights.
