UNSW will be closed on Tuesday 23 December 2025 - Sunday 4 January 2026.
We will be closed for the end-of-year university shutdown period. During this time, emergency support services will remain available. Access our 24/7 support resources below if you need urgent help.
Standard operations and services will return from Monday 5 January 2026.
On-campus support services
Campus emergencies
If you need emergency support on campus, UNSW Protective Services is available 24/7 at Gate 2 on High Street. Reach out through either options:
First aid on campus
If you require non-urgent First Aid assistance and cannot make it to the University Health Service, contact UNSW Protective Services non-emergency line on (02) 9385 6000.
Remember: You should only attend a hospital's emergency department if you are seriously injured, seriously unwell or have a life-threatening medical emergency.
As a UNSW student, you are also covered by insurance for injuries or accidents incurred during UNSW activity. Make a report below.
