Understand next steps for your academic standing and explore the support services available to help you stay on track.
What is academic standing?
Your academic standing helps UNSW monitor your academic progress each term. It’s based on the units you’ve attempted and passed and is designed to help identify when extra support might be helpful.

- Postgraduate coursework students
Good standing or Academic Risk 1
If your academic standing level is Good or Academic Risk 1, you are not required to see an academic advisor from the faculty of Medicine & Health.
Support services are available should you require additional help with your studies or personal circumstances. If you don’t know what support you need, reach out to a student support advisor to talk it through.
