Our new Preventing and Responding to Gender-based Violence at UNSW Policy is now open for consultation. Student feedback ensures that it works for our community.
The policy explains how UNSW works to prevent gender-based violence, respond with care, and provide clear, confidential reporting and support options for students.
What this policy covers
You can share feedback with the Policy Team by emailing policy@unsw.edu.au, or via anonymous submission by 8pm on Tuesday 10 March 2026.
Students can access confidential support or report concerns through the Gendered Violence Portal. Reports can be anonymous.
If you have questions, you can also email reportgenderedviolence@unsw.edu.au.
If you have experienced gender-based violence and would like to seek support outside of UNSW, you may also connect with one of the following external services.
