After completing a LLM by course work with specialisation in International Business and Economic Law, earning two Dean’s List Awards, Seiko pursued a PhD program at the Faculty of Law, UNSW.

Her previous academic background in law in Japan includes Juris Doctor at Sophia University and Master of Laws by coursework/research specialised in EU Law at Waseda University.

Seiko also has five years of working experience in both local and international environment in Tokyo using the Japanese, English and French languages before pursuing her academic interest in law.
