Empowering students to stay active, connected and healthy through peer-supported exercise.
UNSW’s commitment to enabling healthy lives extends into everyday student life, creating opportunities to stay active, connected and supported.
The Stride Program is a 10-week program designed to help support student’s experience with mental health challenges through the delivery of peer-supported exercise. The program is delivered by 4th year Exercise Physiology / Physiotherapy students (under supervision of an accredited EP as part of placement hours) in the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre and UNSW Campus.
Sessions will be conducted 2x per week for 45-60 mins and are flexible to suit your schedule. Prior to beginning the program, you will need to have a 30 minute consultation with Stride's Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
