Facilities on campus
UNSW has parents' rooms and baby change stations on campus to support your parenting and breastfeeding journey.
These spaces are designed for breastfeeding, chest feeding, expressing milk, bottle feeding and short-term child supervision. UNSW is also a Best Practice accredited Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace and supports the needs of LGBTQIA+ families.
Under Australian Federal Law, breastfeeding is a right, not a privilege. You are welcome to breastfeed anywhere on campus or use a parents’ room if you prefer a private space.
You can purchase nappies and other supplies on the UNSW Kensington campus at IGA UNSW and Pharmacy @ UNSW.
