He practised law with Baker McKenzie, followed by Esso Australia where he advised on onshore and offshore petroleum exploration. He then joined Egon Zehnder working in their Sydney and London offices as a Principal. Subsequently, he was a Partner of the Australian executive search firm, Lucas Partners, before establishing his own practice.
Andrew’s passions and interests are family, cross-country skiing, rowing, running, reading group (since 1991) and commerce & culture.
Overriding impressions of First Year Graduate LL.B at the fledgling UNSW Law School were the enthusiasm of staff and students. I had just completed a BA at UNSW with a special major in Political Science. Campus life was very exciting in the early 1970s with student demonstrations, Vietnam protests, Woodstock, the counterculture, hippies and the Wizard levitating on the Library Lawn! Law School was certainly more stable & predictable. We were all highly motivated and excited about the foundation of a new Law School in Sydney and proud to be part of it.
It was a great time.
