International students, what is renting like?
Tell us your experience in the private rental sector.

Are you an international student currently renting in the private sector or living in purpose-built student accommodation?
Share your experience as a renter in a nationwide survey conducted by external researchers involving several Go8 universities, including UNSW.
Following up from the findings of a 2019 survey, this survey aims to further improve our understanding of how international students are faring in the private rental sector and to advocate for better rental conditions and policies.
Complete the survey by Saturday, 28 February 2026.
