The Disability Inclusion Action Plan (or DIAP) is an active commitment to eliminating disability discrimination.
UNSW recognises that diversity is key to our excellence. By committing to building disability inclusive environments, we strengthen the richness of our community and create a culture where everyone can thrive. The DIAP sets out a path for removing the barriers people with disability face when it comes to accessing, participating and succeeding in tertiary education and employment.
It supports the vision and outcomes of the UNSW Progress for All Strategy by ensuring that inclusion is deeply embedded into our practice, environments and processes.

Societal impact and research
UNSW is externally recognised for leadership and thought-leading research in disability inclusion and provides inclusive experiences for researchers with disabilities.
