Medicine & Health Collaborative Seed Grant Initiatives

Personalise
Green Energy Concept With Glowing Lights

The 2027 Medicine & Health Collaborative Seed Grants Scheme supports Early- and Mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs) to lead innovative, cross-disciplinary research and establish new collaborations between scientists and clinicians. Grants of up to $30,000 are available for projects that bring together researchers from at least two distinct UNSW and affiliated organisational units (e.g., Schools, MRIs, LHDs).

Proposals should align with the UNSW Medicine & Health Faculty Strategy and address one or more Priority Areas:

  • Advancing First Nations Health
  • Deliverying Precision Health Solutions
  • Strengthening Health Systems
  • Supporting Better Health across the Life Course
  • Building Climate Adaptation and Regional Capability.

The scheme aims to generate impactful preliminary research, strengthen new collaborations and help EMCRs build towards larger, externally funded research programs. New collaborations are strongly encouraged.
