Our Aims
The Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Strategy seeks to prevent sexual misconduct and offer respectful strategies to assist students and staff members when an incident does occur.
- Offer students and staff detailed support to help them understand what options are available when an incident does occur
- Reduce the incidence of sexual misconduct at UNSW by learning from reports about areas or activities of heightened risk
If a reported incident involves a UNSW student or staff member and occurred online, on campus, in UNSW student accommodation or during a UNSW activity such as a field trip or placement, we may be able to consider an investigation under relevant UNSW policies and procedures. In very serious cases, we may have a duty to tell the Police about the incident.
