I am a full-time PhD candidate at the School of Physics. I hold a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), with majors in Physics and Aerospace Engineering from UNSW, with a focus on astronomy. My research interests and expertise include galaxy evolution, globular clusters, Galactic archaeology, galaxy simulations and observational astronomy.
Project: Investigating the formation of stellar halos through the study of globular clusters in the Milky Way and extragalactic systems.
Supervised by: A/Prof Sarah Martell
Project description: My research explores the role of a type of star cluster, known as a globular cluster, in tracing the history of galaxies like our Milky Way. I use a combination of telescope data and galaxy simulations to better understand where these clusters came from and what they can tell us about how galaxies evolve over time.
