Supervisor: Dr Maja Cassidy

The Quantum Materials and Devices Lab investigates new materials and devices, with a focus on systems that may have applications in a future quantum computer made from spins, superconductors or topological systems. Honors and TSP projects are available, and may involve activities ranging from device design and fabrication in a clean room environment, electromagnetic simulation and cryogenic measurement in dilution refrigerators. Students interested in this area are encouraged to contact Maja to design a project that fits their interest and skills.
