‘Our Voices, Our Way, Our Lives’ commenced in May 2022 as a joint initiative between the national LGBTIQ+ peak organisation LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA) and a disabled people’s organisation, the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA).The project was funded through the Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) program, and aims to increase knowledge, skills, confidence and participation for LGBTIQ+ people with disability through online mentoring and peer support; online training in digital stories; and online resources to support rights, advocacy, and community engagement.

The project will develop communities of practice and other collaborations to share knowledge and resources. The researchers will use codesign to evaluation the process and outcomes of the project.
