Marina was always interested in technology and business - studying Information Systems was a no-brainer for her. She wanted a university with an excellent local and international reputation for teaching and research. She also wanted meaningful industry experiences.
Marina chose UNSW Business School and successfully applied to the Information Systems co-op program. The program gave her scholarship funding and work placements at Origin Energy, Deloitte and MSD Australia.
Marina found that her course assessments usually focused on solving real-world business technology problems. On placements, she could use what she had learnt in the classroom, and as a graduate, she could draw on her experiences as examples in job interviews.
Now Marina is putting her studies and skills to good use as a User Experience Design Consultant at Deloitte Digital.
