What was a key highlight/memory of your time studying at UNSW?

Studying at UNSW was a valuable learning experience in my life. Most importantly, the differences in teaching and assessment between Western and Eastern education systems made up for what I had missed during my earlier studies in East Asia. In short, I am very grateful for my time there and for the professors who taught me.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

The process of learning itself was also a way to expand my social circle. I have always wanted to be a businessman. At the time, I heard that many UNSW graduates chose to go into business, which was an important reason why I chose UNSW. The alumni network might help you in the future, and I hope to get to know more alumni in business for potential cooperation and mutual success.

How did studying abroad shape your personal or professional growth?

Studying at UNSW broadened the horizons of a Chinese international student like me, which has greatly helped me as I transition from a local company to expanding into overseas markets and developing a multinational business. Currently, my products and subsidiaries are already established in Hong Kong and Singapore, and I hope that in the future, my products can also be shared with friends in Australia.
