Institute of Global Finance

The Institute of Global Finance (IGF) brings together the brightest minds in banking and finance from across the world. Members of the IGF come from leading universities, corporations and research institutes. Housed at UNSW Business School in Sydney Australia, the IGF works closely with NYU Stern Business School’s Volatility and Risk Institute.

The IGF works with industry, policy makers, researchers and financial market participants. The IGF’s overall objectives are to conduct high quality policy research, events and engagement on the following four major themes: Interconnectedness, Global Financial Stability, Global Governance and Global Prosperity.

The IGF is housed at UNSW Business School, one of the top 5 in the Asia Pacific Region. The IGF works closely with organisations across the world to serve as a leading financial advisory body. The research produced by the IGF benefits the finance industry as a whole.

The IGF draws on the experience and expertise of a range of global experts who collaborate with us or serve on the Steering Committee or International Advisory Board. Members of the committee have undertaken extensive research in the field and been published in many leading journals.

The strength and impact of the IGF’s work stems from our collaborative partnerships. The IGF works closely with NYU’s Volatility and Risk Institute, research centres in major universities and key players in the finance and regulatory industries.
