Olivia's time at UNSW College and UNSW Business School set her up for an exciting career as a management consultant in Shanghai 

Wanting to study abroad from China, Olivia began her university journey to UNSW by studying Foundation Studies at UNSW College in Sydney. Olivia quotes foundation studies as a key transition between her high school study in China and university study in Australia, saying “This experience allowed me to understand the differences between the Australian and Chinese education systems, making my transition into undergraduate life much smoother.”

Olivia's time at UNSW wasn't only spent in the classroom and she enjoyed immersing herself in UNSW's vibrant student life. She was a part of the UNSW Chinese Student Association where she was Vice-Director of Career Development, was a Peer Mentor and took part in UNSW's Leadership Program. Olivia didn’t stop there, mentioning that one of her most valuable experiences was as an International Student Ambassador.

After graduating in 2021, Olivia put her new skills and knowledge to good use,returning to China and  working as a management consultant in Shanghai. Her workday consists of helping clients solve complex problems and providing them with expert guidance. Her future is filled with further study and career opportunities made possible through her experiences at UNSW, and her desire to explore various industries and always being proactive in achieving her career goals.
