Stochastic entropy for compact manifolds: properties, regularity, rigidity.

Abstract:

We consider the stochastic entropy for the Brownian motion on the universal cover of a compact Riemannian manifold M. We discuss the relation with the other global invariants, the rigidity if M has no focal points and the regularity under (conformal) changes if M has negative curvature.
