MathSoc Student Society

Joining a student society is a great way to make new friends, participate in teamwork, make new connections and make the most out of your time at university.

You can join as a member, or if you are keen to get more involved, consider applying to become a Director or Executive member of a Society.

UNSW Mathematics Society (MathSoc) is a society for those who are passionate about maths. It’s your place to find all the information you need about maths-related community and career events.


UNSW Data Science Society (DataSoc) is run by students for students providing information and support on data science related opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.


The UNSW Competitive Programming and Mathematics Society (CPMSoc) host regular competitions and workshops to challenge students and develop problem solving skills. Get involved in competitive programming.
